Central Pastry Shop has a long history of making customers happy. Founded in 1949 in Middletown, Ohio, the full line retail bakery soon developed a reputation for quality, taste and service. Three generations have passed. The wide eyed children who stared excitedly at the cases of sweet pastries, have grown up. They now bring their own children and grandchildren to share in the traditions and memories of Central Pastry Shop.
Vera and John Slamka purchased Central Pastry Shop in 1984 and have operated the bakery for the past 35 years. It remains a full line scratch bakery using the same recipes that have long given Central Pastry Shop its unique flavors and tastes.
